As long as all shipments containing HAZMAT are properly classified, described, packaged, marked, labeled, and in proper condition for transport according to 49 CFR, Watchpoint can handle the logistics for you. Watchpoint only accepts certain HAZMAT for transport. The following items will not be accepted for transport:

Restricted Articles – Household Goods (HHG)
As a full service, global freight forwarder, Watchpoint can orchestrate the transport of HHG when the shipment is picked up and delivered within our territory and meets other requirements including:

The freight BOL must state that the articles are released to a value NOT TO EXCEED $0.10 per LB at Class 100 (no lower class exceptions).

The consignee’s name and address on the BOL match the consignee’s name and address on the freight.
Restricted Articles – Tobacco Products
We handle tobacco products shipped from a licensed dealer or distributor to another licensed dealer or distributor. In this situation, shippers are responsible for compliance with any applicable regulations which vary from State to State.

NOTICE TO IMPORTER: Per CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS (CFR) Title 19 §111.29(b): If you are the importer of record, payment to the broker will not relieve you of liability for Customs Charges (duties, taxes, or other debts owed to Customs) in the event that the charges are not paid by the broker. Therefore, if you pay by check, Customs charges may be paid with separate check payable to the “U.S. Customs Service”, which shall be delivered to Customs by the broker. If you wish to make your check payable directly to U.S. Customs Service, arrangements must be made with Watchpoint Logistics, Inc. prior to time of entry to arrange timely receipt of your duty check.
